Happy WIAW Friends! Thanks for stopping by from Laura’s site for the weekly fun. Hope winter has finally departed and spring is in full force where you are. I had a nice weekend around Nashville. On Saturday I headed out to Franklin TN to run some errands and stopped by this packed Farmers Market
It was a lovely morning and I treated myself to these fresh organic strawberries. Strawberry season is in full force here. My mistake was to buy one box and not more! I ate about half while wandering around!
So fresh and juicy. I had made pancakes earlier and these were a great mid morning treat!
I got home around lunch and heated up some bone broth that I had picked up. I heard that Babybel cheese is almost lactose free. I picked up a bag of the cheeses to try and test my system. Had one along with my turkey and avocado sandwich. Seemed ok on the system. Fingers crossed.
I was back out in the afternoon as it was a gorgeous 90 degree day. Was great to be out in the warm weather. I stopped by the Fresh Market and found this seasoning blend that I first found in Dallas a few years ago. I picked up a bottle and topped my salmon at dinner with it. It is onion free and really good. Has great flavor.
Topped the shredded salmon on some rice with nutritional yeast and a bit or sriracha
Enjoyed this Asheville NC beer as well. It was really good and I luckily found it was sold locally here and picked up a 6 pack while I was out.
Along with a mixing bowl salad
I had been looking for Nada Moo Birthday Cake ice cream after seeing people raving about it. I finally found a pint at Sprouts and immediately snatched it up.
I topped the remainder of my fresh berried with it. It is so good! Tastes just like cake and I can see why people are raving about it.
Picked these up at Sprouts as well as they were on sale for $1.50. Thought they would be appealing to munch on for a snack. Plus they make me reminisce about home as they are based up in the Pacific Northwest 🙂
That’s it for this week. Hope you all have a great week and are able to enjoy some great spring seasonal produce.
