Good morning from Boston WIAW friends! It has been a busy few days. I started my drive on Friday and luckily had a quick drive making good time and avoiding poor weather. I made the 22 hour drive and arrived Sunday afternoon. On Sunday after leaving Buffalo NY my car had a malfunction with some cruise control sensors. I took it to the dealer here on Monday morning and although I have a loaner it made the move in and unpacking not quite as I had planned and expected. Yesterday I flew to Nashville for the day for an appointment with my orthodontist. I got back on Tuesday evening and start my new ‘old’ job today. I did the calculations and have been in 10 states since Friday.
It is great to be back in Boston and the temperature and weather has been a huge change. It was 40 yesterday and after a few months in frigid Minneapolis it is a welcomed change. I’m still in process of getting set up here and stocked with groceries so I have a scattered post this week.
Oatmeal with raisins were a quick road trip breakfast on the go.
I then ended up snacking on various snacks throughout the day. I picked up these beet chips on a whim. They are really good and a crunchy mess free snack. I’m interested in trying the sea salt ones.
These Kind pressed bars with chia seeds were my morning snack.
For lunch in stopped and picked up a container of cottage cheese and a banana. I ate that while stopped and then snacked on rice cakes and some pretzels while back on the road. Sipped on hot water to keep warm and awake.
Dinner was a Chipotle half chicken and half steak with guacamole in the hotel room and a go macro granola bar to end the day. I ended up be exhausted and totally forgetting to take a photo.
That’s it for this crazy week and photo sparse. I promise to have more next week as I settle in. Hope you are having a less eventful week than mine!
